The collection consists of a folio bound volume of well over one hundred sheets containing the brief of title to 213,505 acres of "Yellow Pine Timberland in Bulloch County, Georgia, between the Canouchee and Ogeechee rivers." Included are copies of all land transactions pertaining to this property from 1793 until 1856 as follows: Charles Ryan to John Hall, 12 October 1793; John Hall to Robert Morris and John Nicholson, 10 May 1794; Robert Morris and John Nicholson to Thomas Willing, John Nixon and John Barclay, Trustees of the North American Land Co., 5 March 1795; Heirs of John Barclay to James Dundas and Benjamin Kugler, 17 June 1845; James Dundas and Benjamin Kugler to Samuel Slater, 25 August 1852; Samuel Slater to George Mackay, 26 August 1852; George Mackay to Eben S. Stephenson 10 June 1856. There is also a detailed hand-drawn plot of the acrage, transcripts of indentures, and accounts of each individual tract.
